CHHATTISGARH C’garh top beneficiary of CAMPA funds Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Odisha have received the maximum funds from the Environment Ministry as part of the Rs  47,000 crore Compensatory Afforestation Fund Management and Planning Authority (CAMPA) funds. The funds were handed over by the Ministry of Environment to various states on August 29 this year. CHHATTISGARH Toll-free number to regulate sand mining in state soon Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel announced starting a toll-free number for regulating sand mining in the state. Government will sternly implement NGT directives and will not allow sand mafia to flourish in the state. A total of 247 sand mines tender were called, out of which 183 have been opened.
