CHHATTISGARH Paddy procurement surpasses 75L MT target in State   Paddy procurement exercise in Chhattisgarh on Minimum Support Price (MSP) concluded.   The procurement had surpassed the target of 75 lakh metric tonnes and though final figures were yet to arrive, it was reportedly around 80 lakh metric tonnes.   Official sources informed that till Wednesday evening, the paddy procurement was amounted to be 79 lakh metric tonnes and as per reports the final figure might go beyond 80 lakh metric tonnes.   The paddy procurement was done from 1,333 primary agricultural co-operative societies’ 1195 procurement centers.   Notably, the ... CHHATTISGARH Govt outlets to sell Kadaknath chicken soon   The state government will be selling Kadaknath chicken from official counters in Bhopal and Indore within a month. CHHATTISGARH Government, stakeholders share notes on Forest Rights Act   Chhattisgarh government, for the first time, held a meeting with the non-government organizations and civil rights groups on the Forest Rights Act (FRA) and its implementation. Addressing the meeting, chief minister Bhupesh Baghel said the FRA has provisions to benefit people living in the forest areas of the state for 75 years before December 13, 2015.
