CHHATTISGARH Schemes For Women   Ayushmati Yojana   This is an initiative working under the auspices of the Rajiv Jeevan Rekha Scheme. It aims to provide health care access to women from low-income families and rural areas in the state. CHHATTISGARH C’garh gets two national awards for performance in health sector   Chhattisgarh received two national awards for good performance in the health sector on Friday. CHHATTISGARH C’garh awarded for holding regular disha meetings   Chhattisgarh is among the five States which received an “award of appreciation” for exemplary work towards regular holding of District Development Coordination & Monitoring Committee (DISHA) meetings. CHHATTISGARH C’garh needs to work more on segregated agri power feeders The States of Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Tripura still have significant ground to make up to have segregated agricultural power feeders, a NITI Aayog report has observed.   Out of the nine States that have segregated agricultural power feeders, four—Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Punjab, and Madhya Pradesh—have achieved or are close to achieving 100% segregation, it mentioned.   Given the dual benefits of feeder segregation for farmers and rural households, and the national push towards reliable electricity supply in rural areas, it is critical for the remaining States to implement ... CHHATTISGARH C’garh gets top award for foodgrain production   Chhattisgarh received the award for being the top most state in the country in the field of foodgrain production, registering 28.68 per cent more crops than the last year.   Rice production in the state has increased 39 per cent from year 2003-04 to year 2013-14, which is far better than the two per cent increase during the period at national level.   Food grain production in Chhattisgarh in the year 2016-17 was 9.32 lakh tonne, which is almost 2 lakh tonne more than the average production in last five years. ... CHHATTISGARH More than 36,000 solar pumps installed under saur sujala yojana   Nearly 36 thousand 393 solar pumps have been installed in various parts of the state till date under Saur Sujala Yojana. Besides, while installation of nearly 20 thousand solar pumps has been proposed.   Officials informed that Saur Sujala Yojana was launched in year 2016-17 for establishing solar pumps in farms, where it is not possible to supply electricity.
