CHHATTISGARH Chhattisgarh ranks 13th in human trafficking, MP follows at 16th  The annual publication of National Crime Records Bureau’s ‘Crime in India-2016’ report released by Union home minister Rajnath Singh puts Chhattisgarh on 13th position in human trafficking cases reported while Madhya Pradesh ranks 16th in the nation. CHHATTISGARH Chhattisgarh Government bans Bursting of Firecrackers in Six of its Cities  The ChhattisgarhGovernment imposed a ban on the bursting of firecrackers in six of its cities, including the state capital Raipur, ahead of the wedding season from December 1st to January 31st. According to the statement issued by the State Environment Conservation Board, the decision has been taken to control the pollution, which increases during winters due to the direction of the wind. CHHATTISGARH Creda to install solar home lighting in 22 dists  The Chhattisgarh Renewable Energy Development Agency (CREDA) will install Solar Photovoltaic Home Lighting systems in 21 districts of the State. It will also get installed Solar Photovoltaic High Mast Systems in eight districts of the State besides several other locations, officials informed. CREDA will also install Solar Photovoltaic Power Plants in six districts of Bastar division, officials informed . CHHATTISGARH More long span bridges to come up in Chhattisgarh  The State Government will get done a series of survey, investigation, study and preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for construction of long span bridges within the jurisdiction of Chhattisgarh Road Development Corporation (CGRDC), officials informed. CHHATTISGARH Chhattisgarh’s nature safari to be ready by 2019  The Chhattisgarh Government is in the process of developing a ‘Nature Safari’ near Raipur on the lines of ‘Jungle Safari’ in Naya Raipur. The work on Nature Safari is expected to be completed by 2019. CHHATTISGARH TRACKING SYSTEM FOR INDRAVATI TIGER RESERVE SOON  The State Government will get installed Tracking and Monitoring applications in Indravati Tiger Reserve soon. The National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) has sanctioned ‘Bhoramdeo Wildlife Sanctuary’ spreading over 351.25 sq kms as ‘Tiger Reserve’ in Chhattisgarh.
