CHHATTISGARH Representation panel on retirement soon   Chief Minister  Raman Singh chaired a Cabinet meeting and decided to consider the representations of Government servants in the matter of compulsory retirement.   A circular will be issued for giving opportunity of representation against the order of compulsory retirement after Government servants reach age of 50 years or completing 20 years of service. CHHATTISGARH Survey of river banks for plantation soon   Recently Chief Secretary had discussions on minor forest produce procurement, afforestation, wild life conservation, bonus to tendu patta collectors, herbal processing and several other issues.   The Chief Secretary called upon the officials to conduct a survey of the river banks for conducting plantations.   He stressed upon the bamboo production and tissue culture. CHHATTISGARH Govt plans compensatory afforestation in bilaspur   The State Government will take up a massive compensatory afforestation exercise in Bilaspur district covering a total of 1000 hectares of  land.   The Government will soon carry out a survey of the areas where the exercise would be taken up, officials informed.   Chhattisgarh received Rs  280 crore under Compensatory Afforestation Fund Management and Planning Authority (CAMPA) during financial year 2016-17, the Central Government has informed.   Notably, the Central Government has approved 20,716 hectares of land for afforestation drive in Chhattisgarh during the last financial year under ‘Green India Mission’.The ...
