CHHATTISGARH Survey of river banks for plantation soon  Recently Chief Secretary had discussions on minor forest produce procurement, afforestation, wild life conservation, bonus to tendu patta collectors, herbal processing and several other issues. CHHATTISGARH Govt plans compensatory afforestation in bilaspur  The State Government will take up a massive compensatory afforestation exercise in Bilaspur district covering a total of 1000 hectares of land. The Government will soon carry out a survey of the areas where the exercise would be taken up, officials informed.
