CHHATTISGARH Vayosri yojana’ to be launched in three dists Union Social Justice and Empowerment Ministry had launched ‘Vayosri Yojana’ for supplying any aid to senior citizens as per their requirements.The project will be launched at Bilaspur, Raigarh and Janjgir-Champa districts, the Central Government has informed. About 520 senior citizens in Raipur, 480 senior citizens in Bastar and 322 senior citizens in Bijapur had been identified for the scheme. CHHATTISGARH Bhilai gets chhattisgarh’s 2nd amrit pharmacy Chhattisgarh’s second AMRIT pharmacy was inaugurated by Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) in a sustained bid to provide lifesaving drugs and surgical disposables for life threatening diseases like cancer and heart diseases. A flagship initiative of the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the AMRIT (Affordable Medicines and Reliable Implants for Treatment) pharmacy was launched at AIIMS, New Delhi in November 2015 with the object of providing affordable medicines for treatment of cancer, cardio-vascular and other diseases.
