CHHATTISGARH 30 new govt colleges from next session: pandey Demands for grants worth Rs3332.95 crore were passed by voice vote in the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly. The grants were as per the budget proposals related to Revenue, Calamity Management, Higher Education, Skill Development, Technical Education and Employment Department, Science and Technology Department for upcoming fiscal year 2018-19. Art Forms of Chhattigarh Geographical Indication belonging to Chhattisgarh are- Bastar Dhokra – Dhokra is a non-ferrous metal casting using the lost-wax casting technique. This sort of metal casting has been used in India for over 5000 years. It was prevalent during the Indus Valley Civilisation of Harappa and Mohenjo-daro. Dhokra craft is made out of Bell metal which is an alloy of brass, nickel and Zinc that gives an antique effect to the casting products.
