CHHATTISGARH Vayosri yojana’ to be launched in three dists   Union Social Justice and Empowerment Ministry had launched ‘Vayosri Yojana’ for supplying any aid to senior citizens as per their requirements.The project will be launched at Bilaspur, Raigarh and  Janjgir-Champa districts, the Central Government has informed.   About 520 senior citizens in Raipur, 480 senior citizens in Bastar and 322 senior citizens in Bijapur had been identified for the scheme.   Prime Minister Narendra Modi had launched ‘Vayosri Yojana’ and gifted hearing aid to senior citizen at village Jangla district Bijapur on April 14.   As per the Census figures ... CHHATTISGARH Nabard helps state with rs 4,486 cr during 2017-18   The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has assisted Chhattisgarh with Rs  4,486 crore during the financial year 2017-18.   This was 76% higher than that of the assistance given during last two years.   Under ‘Saur Sujala Scheme’, targetted beneficiaries were mainly small farmers in un-electrified areas of remote habitations. CHHATTISGARH Chhattisgarh govt develops two super speciality hospitals   Chhattisgarh Government in a bid to improve quality of health services is in the process of building two super speciality hospitals, officials informed.   Accordingly , the State Government will convert Chhattisgarh Institute of Medical Science (CIMS), Bilaspur into the super speciality hospital under PMSSY Phase-IV.   Notably, the State Health Department has decided to establish the 450 bedded  super speciality hospital having all PG medical courses in Raipur.   The existing constructed building area for the proposed hospital is 20,00,000 square feet.The facility would comprise 250 bedded general ward, 100 ... CHHATTISGARH State govt to develop 3 regional airports   The Chhattisgarh Government has undertaken development of Bilaspur, Jagdalpur and Ambikapur airstrip under Regional Connectivity Scheme (RCS), officials informed.   A total Rs 76.50 crore has been sanctioned by Government of Chhattisgarh for development of Ambikapur, Bilaspur and Jagdalpur Airports uut of which, an amount of Rs 39.43 crore has been earmarked by the State government towards development of infrastructure at these airports.   In the financial year 2017-18, Airports Authority of India (AAI) has earmarked an amount of Rs 32.66 crore and has spent Rs 21.08 crore towards development of ...
