CHHATTISGARH Union cabinet nod to 1028 mobile tower locations in lwe regions   The proposal for a total of 1028 mobile tower locations have been approved by the Central Government for Chhattisgarh in 16 Left Wing Extremist (LWE) infested districts, the Central government has informed.   The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi approved the “Universal Service Obligation Fund [USOF]” supported scheme to provide mobile services at 4072 tower locations identified by MHA in inhabited uncovered areas affected by Left Wing Extremism [LWE] of 96 districts in 10 States including Chhattisgarh for Phase-ll project.  The total project cost ... CHHATTISGARH 08 kms of new roads declared as nhs in c’garh   The Central Government has declared 290.08 kms of roads in Chhattisgarh as new National Highways during 2017-18, officials informed.   The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways is primarily responsible for development and maintenance of National Highways (NHs) and considers declaration of State Roads as new National Highways from time to time depending upon requirement of connectivity, inter-se priority and availability of funds.   The Ministry has declared about 30,268 km of new National Highways (NHs) including 53 km of NHs (717A & 316A)in West Bengal since May ... CHHATTISGARH Rs 352 cr approved for lwe regions road development: centre   The Chhattisgarh Government had been sanctioned Rs 352 crores for development of roads in Left Wing Extremism (LWE) infested districts under Road Requirement Plan-I (RRP-I)  during the current financial year, the Central Government has informed.   The Government has approved a scheme of construction of roads under Left Wing Extremism (LWE) under Road Requirement Plan-I (RRP-I) in 2009 for development of 5477 km roads at a cost of Rs. 7300 crore covering eight States viz. Mountbatten plan The British government sent a Cabinet Mission to India in March 1946 to negotiate with Indian leaders and agree to the terms of the transfer of power. After difficult negotiations a federal solution was proposed. Despite initial agreement, both sides eventually rejected the plan.
