CHHATTISGARH Govt to hold ‘gram sabhas’ in 19 districts   The Chhattisgarh Government has decided to organize Gram Sabhas in 85 tribal dominated development blocks of 19 districts, which are included under fifth notification of PESA Act, on June 10 and 11.   Gram Sabhas will be organized in 5055 Gram Panchayats of these blocks, wherein information regarding the achievements and the schemes of Food, Civil Supply Department, Panchayat and Rural Development Department, Forest Department and Tribal and Scheduled Caste Development Department, along with the schemes conducted by Central Government and State Government will be provided.   In compliance to ... CHHATTISGARH Chhattisgarh govt’s proposed move to categorize private hospitals draws flak The private hospitals under Chhattisgarh Indian Medical Association (CIMA) have opposed the state government’s proposed move to categorize the private hospitals under the four categories- A, B, C and D based on the medical facilities being provided to the beneficiaries availing treatments under government schemes and insurance health covers.   Chhattisgarh’s IMA has pointed out that once the hospital will be labelled under B, C and D categories, the percentage of payments made under health smart cards will gradually decrease. CHHATTISGARH Survey of river banks for plantation soon   Recently Chief Secretary had discussions on minor forest produce procurement, afforestation, wild life conservation, bonus to tendu patta collectors, herbal processing and several other issues.   The Chief Secretary called upon the officials to conduct a survey of the river banks for conducting plantations.   He stressed upon the bamboo production and tissue culture. CHHATTISGARH Cecb to set up ‘central environment laboratory’   The Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board (CECB) will  establish a ‘Central Environment Laboratory’ in the State, officials informed.
