CHHATTISGARH Modi interacts with ujjwala yojana beneficiaries of c’garh   Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday had direct conversation with three beneficiary women of Raipur district of Chhattisgarh under Ujjwala Yojana, through video conferencing.   The Prime Minister started the conversation with ‘Jai Johar’.   Modi also asked them about the betterment in their health after getting the smoke-free kitchen under Ujjwala Yojana. CHHATTISGARH Representation panel on retirement soon   Chief Minister  Raman Singh chaired a Cabinet meeting and decided to consider the representations of Government servants in the matter of compulsory retirement.   A circular will be issued for giving opportunity of representation against the order of compulsory retirement after Government servants reach age of 50 years or completing 20 years of service.   CHHATTISGARH   C’garh sets 8.38l domestic power connection distribution target   The Chhattisgarh Government under ‘Pradhan Mantri Sahaj Bijli Har Ghar Yojana’ (Saubhagya Yojana) has a target to provide electricity connection to 8.38 lakh households of the state. For this, a proposal of Rs 838 crore has been sent to  the Central Government, officials informed. This included 67 villages of Sukma district, 23 villages of Bijapur district, and four villages of Dantewada district and one village in Narayanpur to grid. CHHATTISGARH State govt to develop 3 regional airports   The Chhattisgarh Government has undertaken development of Bilaspur, Jagdalpur and Ambikapur airstrip under Regional Connectivity Scheme (RCS), officials informed.   A total Rs 76.50 crore has been sanctioned by Government of Chhattisgarh for development of Ambikapur, Bilaspur and Jagdalpur Airports uut of which, an amount of Rs 39.43 crore has been earmarked by the State government towards development of infrastructure at these airports.   In the financial year 2017-18, Airports Authority of India (AAI) has earmarked an amount of Rs 32.66 crore and has spent Rs 21.08 crore towards development of ... CHHATTISGARH Chhattisgarh ranks 13th in human trafficking, MP follows at 16th   The annual publication of National Crime Records Bureau’s ‘Crime in India-2016’ report released by Union home minister Rajnath Singh puts Chhattisgarh on 13th position in human trafficking cases reported while Madhya Pradesh ranks 16th in the nation.   Chhattisgarh contributing 0.84 % share with 68 cases reported in 2016 while the state ranks 12th when it comes to cases based on rate of cognizable crime.   Subsequently, there were 51 cases reported from MP in 2016 contributing 0.63 % share.   Madhya Pradesh had in all emerged as the third most unsecure state ...
