CHHATTISGARH Health department aims to diagnose 5 lakh patients for sickle cell disease The state health department has taken upon itself the mammoth task of conducting a mega sickle cell diagnose event from 10 am to 4 pm on March 21, where it plans to diagnose 5,00,000 people, including pregnant women and children across the state.   With this number, the state health department aims to create a world record for the highest number of patients diagnosed at a single event, and if the target is achieved on March 21, the department will register the achievment into the Golden book of World records.   Health department ... CHHATTISGARH 30 new govt colleges from next session: pandey   Demands for grants worth Rs3332.95 crore were passed by voice vote in the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly.   The grants were as per the budget proposals related to Revenue, Calamity Management, Higher Education, Skill Development, Technical Education and Employment Department, Science and Technology Department for upcoming fiscal year 2018-19.   Revenue and Technical Education Minister Prem Prakash Pandey informed that in the new fiscal year 2018-19,  Rs 608.84 crore has been provisioned for expenditure related relief works in natural calamity affected areas, under Revenue and Calamity management Department.   The Minister ... CHHATTISGARH Patanjali commits rs 671 cr investment in state   Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali Ayurved Limited (PAL) will be investing Rs 671 crore in Chhattisgarh for setting up a ‘Food and Herbal Processing Unit.’   The company has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Chhattisgarh Government to set up the unit in Bijetala village of Rajnandgaon district on 500 acres of land, officials informed.   The company intends manufacture and process honey, amla juice, aloe vera juice, tomato ketchup, frozen vegetables, rice and pulses in the proposed Chhattisgarh facility.   Notably, Chief Minister Raman Singh had also ...
