CHHATTISGARH C’garh preparing for launch of ‘gram swaraj mission’   The Chhattisgarh Government has commenced preparations for Central Government’s nation-wide launch of ‘Gram Swaraj Mission’ from April 14 to May 5.   The State Women and Child Development Department will organize several programmes  relating to the ‘National Nutrition Mission’ at gram sabhas of the panchayats.   Gram Sabhas in the State are a part of Gram Swaraj Mission. CHHATTISGARH Gram sabhas in 10,971 panchayats from Apr 14   Gram Sabhas will be organised in about 10,971 gram panchayats from April 14, the birth anniversary of  the architect of Indian Constitution Dr Baba Saheb Ambedkar, according to Directorate of Panchayat.   Chief Minister Raman Singh appealed to the citizens of the State to participate in large numbers in the gram sabhas.   He added that it is a part of democracy to participate in the activities of gram panchayats where the concerned representatives give an account of the developmental activities.
