CHHATTISGARH Centre okays setting up of tribunal for settling mahanadi water dispute The Union Cabinet chaired by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved the proposal for adjudication of dispute on Mahanadi River waters. CHHATTISGARH Phonetic values of caste groups in various dialects approved The Cabinet has decided to give recognition to 85 phonetic values of 27 scheduled caste groups of Chhattisgarh. This will make it convenient for the people of these castes to get caste certificates on the basis of phonetic values of the names of their castes, mentioned in the revenue records and other documents, in their local dialects.
