CHHATTISGARH Bhilai gets chhattisgarh’s 2nd amrit pharmacy Chhattisgarh’s second AMRIT pharmacy was inaugurated by Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) in a sustained bid to provide lifesaving drugs and surgical disposables for life threatening diseases like cancer and heart diseases. A flagship initiative of the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the AMRIT (Affordable Medicines and Reliable Implants for Treatment) pharmacy was launched at AIIMS, New Delhi in November 2015 with the object of providing affordable medicines for treatment of cancer, cardio-vascular and other diseases.
