CHHATTISGARH Chhattisgarh govt’s proposed move to categorize private hospitals draws flak The private hospitals under Chhattisgarh Indian Medical Association (CIMA) have opposed the state government’s proposed move to categorize the private hospitals under the four categories- A, B, C and D based on the medical facilities being provided to the beneficiaries availing treatments under government schemes and insurance health covers.   Chhattisgarh’s IMA has pointed out that once the hospital will be labelled under B, C and D categories, the percentage of payments made under health smart cards will gradually decrease. CHHATTISGARH Govt plans compensatory afforestation in bilaspur   The State Government will take up a massive compensatory afforestation exercise in Bilaspur district covering a total of 1000 hectares of  land.   The Government will soon carry out a survey of the areas where the exercise would be taken up, officials informed.   Chhattisgarh received Rs  280 crore under Compensatory Afforestation Fund Management and Planning Authority (CAMPA) during financial year 2016-17, the Central Government has informed.   Notably, the Central Government has approved 20,716 hectares of land for afforestation drive in Chhattisgarh during the last financial year under ‘Green India Mission’.The ...
