CHHATTISGARH CM launches ‘bijli tihar’ from maoist hotbed bastar  Chief Minister Raman Singh launched the State-wide ‘Bonus Tihar’ from Mahupal Barai village near Bastar’s district headquarters Jagdalpur.  On the occasion, the Chief Minister inaugurated a 400/200 Kv power substation constructed at a cost of Rs 633 crore.This is the State’s third largest power substation inaugurated.  The Chief Minister had already inaugurated two more power sub stations at Raita village in Raipur district and Khedamara village in Durg district, officials informed.  Notably, Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Company Ltd (CSPDCL) is expected to procure power to the tune ... CHHATTISGARH State to celebrate ‘bijli tihar’ on dec 12  The chhattisgarh government will celebrate ‘bijli tihar’ on december 12 on the completion of 14 years in office of chief minister raman singh . During the celebrations, 36 new power sub stations will be inaugurated which were constructed at a cost of rs 57.49 crore. The move would help resolve low voltage problem in 515 villages of the state, officials informed.
