CHHATTISGARH Govt to hold ‘gram sabhas’ in 19 districts   The Chhattisgarh Government has decided to organize Gram Sabhas in 85 tribal dominated development blocks of 19 districts, which are included under fifth notification of PESA Act, on June 10 and 11.   Gram Sabhas will be organized in 5055 Gram Panchayats of these blocks, wherein information regarding the achievements and the schemes of Food, Civil Supply Department, Panchayat and Rural Development Department, Forest Department and Tribal and Scheduled Caste Development Department, along with the schemes conducted by Central Government and State Government will be provided.   In compliance to ... CHHATTISGARH   Pmgsy road dev work for 2018-19 to begin soon   The State Government will soon start construction of roads under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) batch-I year 2018-19 , officials informed.   The State of Chhattisgarh has reported to have constructed 81 roads measuring length 410.42 Km under New Connectivity and 2 roads measuring length 8.25 Km roads under upgradation till December, 2017, the Central Government has informed.   As per PMGSY guidelines, maintenance of roads constructed under the programme is the responsibility of the State Governments and all road works are covered by initial five year ...   CHHATTISGARH   C’garh sets 8.38l domestic power connection distribution target   The Chhattisgarh Government under ‘Pradhan Mantri Sahaj Bijli Har Ghar Yojana’ (Saubhagya Yojana) has a target to provide electricity connection to 8.38 lakh households of the state. For this, a proposal of Rs 838 crore has been sent to  the Central Government, officials informed.
