CHHATTISGARH Chhattisgarh to withdraw controversial tribal land law Faced with massive tribal protests, Chhattisgarh government was forced to relent and the cabinet decided to initiate the process for withdrawal of its controversial amendment to Land Revenue Code which ensures that the state can buy land owned by the tribals with their consent.
