CHHATTISGARH Chhattisgarh recruiting transgender in police force   In a bid to employ transgender people in police force, the recruit drive going on for 4th battalion for constables, 10 transgender of the 40 applied, have cleared the physical fitness test. CHHATTISGARH C’garh preparing for launch of ‘gram swaraj mission’   The Chhattisgarh Government has commenced preparations for Central Government’s nation-wide launch of ‘Gram Swaraj Mission’ from April 14 to May 5.   The State Women and Child Development Department will organize several programmes  relating to the ‘National Nutrition Mission’ at gram sabhas of the panchayats.   Gram Sabhas in the State are a part of Gram Swaraj Mission. CHHATTISGARH Land records of over 19,000 villages available online   Chhattisgarh Government has made concrete arrangements for computerisation of land records under Bhuinya project, as a result of which important documents such as land records and B1 have been made available online for public.   Under the leadership of Chief Minister Raman Singh, State Government has taken this initiative to improve transparency in land transactions and documents.   There are around 20 thousand villages in the State. CHHATTISGARH State’s per capita income takes 9.22% leap   State Planning and Statistics Minister Punnulal Mohle  tabled the State’s Economic Survey report 2017-18 on the floor of  Chhattisgarh Assembly. As per the report, the per capita income in the State as per 2016-17 has gone up from Rs 84,265 to an estimated Rs 92,035 — a 9.22 per cent jump compared to last financial year.   The growth estimates of Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) has remained stable while taking prices of base year 2011-12.   The advanced estimates of GSDP had gone up from Rs 2,13,649 crore in 2016-17 ... CHHATTISGARH 54l quintal food grains allotted under pds: govt   Under State Government’s Public Distribution System (PDS), 20.54 lakh quintals of food grains have been allotted to all 27 districts of the state for February month, officials informed.   The allotment by Food, Civil Supply and Consumer Protection Department includes 18 lakh 28 thousand 644 quintals of rice, 40 thousand 590 quintals of wheat, 57 thousand 031 quintals of sugar, 47 thousand 601 quintals of chickpeas, and 80 thousand 833 quintals of iodine salt.
