CHHATTISGARH Nabard helps state with rs 4,486 cr during 2017-18 The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has assisted Chhattisgarh with Rs 4,486 crore during the financial year 2017-18. This was 76% higher than that of the assistance given during last two years. Under ‘Saur Sujala Scheme’, targetted beneficiaries were mainly small farmers in un-electrified areas of remote habitations. The solar pumps of 5 hp provided to them under the scheme deliver about 1,24,000 liters of water per day with 70 meters dynamic head. NABARD also assisted in establishing a Food Park in State. ...
