CHHATTISGARH Govt spending rs 100 cr to develop tribal tourism spots   The State Government is developing tourism facilities at a cost of Rs 100 crore under Central Government’s ‘Tribal Tourism Circuit’, officials informed.   The Chhattisgarh Tourism Board (CTB) had been working at a ‘themed based’ development of the project.   The Central Government has put up the anticipated timeline for completion of the Tribal Tourism Circuit  in Chhattisgarh to be 2019-20.   The Tribal Tourism Circuit will provide an opportunity to the tourists to witness and experience tribal culture and traditions in Chhattisgarh, officials informed.   The key ... CHHATTISGARH 48l students given laptops, tablets, claims govt   The State Government under the Chhattisgarh Yuva Soochna Kranti Yojana has distributed laptops and tablets to more than  1.48 lakh students so far, officials said.   Distribution of laptops to 17,000 students of academic session 2017-18 is in progress, they informed.   Under this scheme, the money for the purchase of laptops and tablets was transferred directly into the savings account of students in year 2015-16.   In the academic session 2016-17,  a total of 16,804 students were provided laptops and a total 62,124 students were provided tablets.   In the ... CHHATTISGARH C’garh govt identifies guma limestone block for auction   The Mineral Resources Department of  Chhattisgarh Government has identified the Guma limestone block for the purpose of grant of Mining Lease in 249.49 hectares in Palari tehsil of Baloda Bazar – Bhatapara district for specified end use of clinker/ cement through electronic auction.   Notably, Chhattisgarh Government had confirmed two limestone blocks and one Bauxite block ready for auction last year, the Central Government has informed.   Notably, the Ministry of Mines was monitoring the process very closely with the state governments.
