CHHATTISGARH 30l standard sacks of tendupatta collected so far: govt   Nearly 8.30 lakh standard sacks of tendupatta have been collected in more than 10,000 collection centres under 916 primary forest cooperative societies of Chhattisgarh, officials informed.   From Bastar to Surguja, tendupatta from 31 forest division of the State is being collected. CHHATTISGARH Govt to carry out mass surveys of irrigation infra   A comprehensive and phased survey of more than 300 small irrigation projects for their full capacity utilisation will be carried out in Chhattisgarh, officials informed.   The survey would be done for 1698 small irrigation projects, 766 anicuts, stop dams and 585 diversion projects.   The survey of canals and barrages would also be carried out. CHHATTISGARH Nabard helps state with rs 4,486 cr during 2017-18   The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has assisted Chhattisgarh with Rs  4,486 crore during the financial year 2017-18.   This was 76% higher than that of the assistance given during last two years.   Under ‘Saur Sujala Scheme’, targetted beneficiaries were mainly small farmers in un-electrified areas of remote habitations. CHHATTISGARH   Govt starts survey to link rivers   The Chhattisgarh Government has commenced survey work for river inter-linking projects in the State, officials informed.   The Government has approved Rs 36.55 crore as the budget  for taking up the survey work for three projects during financial year 2018-19.   A total of five river inter-linking projects had been prepared in the State,They are- Mahanadi-Tandula, Pairi-Mahanadi, Rehar-Atem, Ahiran-Kharang and Hasdeo-Kawai.   Water Resources Minister Brijmohan Agrawal informed that there would be total filling of water in all irrigation dams from river waters.
