CHHATTISGARH Representation panel on retirement soon   Chief Minister  Raman Singh chaired a Cabinet meeting and decided to consider the representations of Government servants in the matter of compulsory retirement.   A circular will be issued for giving opportunity of representation against the order of compulsory retirement after Government servants reach age of 50 years or completing 20 years of service. CHHATTISGARH Bauxite exploration underway in six c’garh distts: centre   The exploration of bauxite mineral reserves had been going on in Kabirdham, Surguja, Balrampur, Jashpur, Kanker and Kondagaon districts of Chhattisgarh, the Central Government has informed.   The mining activities of major minerals including Bauxite, are regulated as per the provisions contained in Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) (MMDR) Act, 1957 and the rules framed thereunder. CHHATTISGARH   World-class ‘education city’ planned for Raipur   Chief Minister Raman Singh will be inaugurating works being started for a proposed ‘Education City’ to be built at Saddu locality in Raipur on March 4 at a cost of  Rs 20 crores, officials informed.   The Education City is to be developed by State Tribal and Scheduled Caste Welfare Department, officials informed.   The ‘Education City’ would also comprise a 500 seat residential hostel and would be built in a sprawling 18 acre campus.   The campus would also comprise a computer lab and smart classes. CHHATTISGARH Chhattisgarh govt’s proposed move to categorize private hospitals draws flak The private hospitals under Chhattisgarh Indian Medical Association (CIMA) have opposed the state government’s proposed move to categorize the private hospitals under the four categories- A, B, C and D based on the medical facilities being provided to the beneficiaries availing treatments under government schemes and insurance health covers.   Chhattisgarh’s IMA has pointed out that once the hospital will be labelled under B, C and D categories, the percentage of payments made under health smart cards will gradually decrease. CHHATTISGARH C’garh govt identifies guma limestone block for auction   The Mineral Resources Department of  Chhattisgarh Government has identified the Guma limestone block for the purpose of grant of Mining Lease in 249.49 hectares in Palari tehsil of Baloda Bazar – Bhatapara district for specified end use of clinker/ cement through electronic auction.   Notably, Chhattisgarh Government had confirmed two limestone blocks and one Bauxite block ready for auction last year, the Central Government has informed.   Notably, the Ministry of Mines was monitoring the process very closely with the state governments.
