CHHATTISGARH Govt to hold ‘gram sabhas’ in 19 districts   The Chhattisgarh Government has decided to organize Gram Sabhas in 85 tribal dominated development blocks of 19 districts, which are included under fifth notification of PESA Act, on June 10 and 11.   Gram Sabhas will be organized in 5055 Gram Panchayats of these blocks, wherein information regarding the achievements and the schemes of Food, Civil Supply Department, Panchayat and Rural Development Department, Forest Department and Tribal and Scheduled Caste Development Department, along with the schemes conducted by Central Government and State Government will be provided.   In compliance to ... CHHATTISGARH 6000 km of fiber optic cables being laid: raman   Chief Minister  Raman Singh on Friday said that 6,000 kilometres of fiber cable network is being laid to uplink 10,000 gram panchayats via BharatNet project in the State.   Fifty lakh Smart phones will be distributed to women, farmers and college students under the Sky Project.   Citizens can take advantage of various social welfare schemes of the State Government through Smart phones. Singh while addressing a massive public meeting attended by Baiga tribals at Sahaspur Lohara late last evening said that Lohara tank will be beautified and new bank branch will be opened at Jalmala. CHHATTISGARH Issue of bill must on sale of goods worth rs 200   The Commercial Tax Department has made it mandatory for traders and shopkeepers to issue bills as per the rules on sale of goods worth Rs 200, under Goods and Services Tax Act (GST) 2017.   Officials informed that with an objective to prevent tax-evasion, e-way bill system has been introduced.
