CHHATTISGARH 39,870 registered under noni suraksha yojana’ Nearly 39,870 daughters have been registered in Chhattisgarh under ‘Noni Suraksha Yojana’ in last quarters to three years. This scheme was launched by Women and Child Development Department of State Government on April 1, 2014. Under this scheme, an account in Life Insurance Corporation of India is opened in the name of each beneficiary daughter and Rs 5,000 is deposited in this account every year for five years.
