CHHATTISGARH 48l students given laptops, tablets, claims govt   The State Government under the Chhattisgarh Yuva Soochna Kranti Yojana has distributed laptops and tablets to more than  1.48 lakh students so far, officials said.   Distribution of laptops to 17,000 students of academic session 2017-18 is in progress, they informed.   Under this scheme, the money for the purchase of laptops and tablets was transferred directly into the savings account of students in year 2015-16.   In the academic session 2016-17,  a total of 16,804 students were provided laptops and a total 62,124 students were provided tablets.   In the ... CHHATTISGARH Route survey for bharat net phase-ii soon   The Chhattisgarh Infotech Promotion Society (CHiPS), the nodal agency of Department of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of Chhattisgarh, will be getting route survey and Right of Way (RoW) clearance done for Bharat Net Phase-II project in the State, officials informed. Notably, Bharat Net is a project initiated by the Central Government and funded by Universal Service Obligation Fund (USOF) with an aim to provide broadband connectivity to over two lakh fifty thousand (250,000) Gram Panchayats of India.
