CHHATTISGARH Representation panel on retirement soon   Chief Minister  Raman Singh chaired a Cabinet meeting and decided to consider the representations of Government servants in the matter of compulsory retirement.   A circular will be issued for giving opportunity of representation against the order of compulsory retirement after Government servants reach age of 50 years or completing 20 years of service. CHHATTISGARH Chhattisgarh east west rail corridor may complete by 2020   The Chhattisgarh East-West Rail Corridor project is expected to be complete by 2020, officials informed.   The proposed track from  Gevra Road to Pendra via Dipka, Katghora, Sindurgarh and Pasan has a length of 135 km, Urga- Kusmunda has a length of about 16 km and Feeder Lines of about 35 km. Mountbatten plan The British government sent a Cabinet Mission to India in March 1946 to negotiate with Indian leaders and agree to the terms of the transfer of power. After difficult negotiations a federal solution was proposed. Despite initial agreement, both sides eventually rejected the plan. CHHATTISGARH 74l lpg connections to poor in current fiscal: govt   About 7.74 lakh domestic cooking gas connections have been distributed to the poor women in Chhattisgarh under the Prime Minister ‘Ujjwala’ project during the current financial year , officials informed.   A total of 17.74 lakh  Below Poverty Line (BPL) level women have been allocated LPG cylinders since the launch of ‘Ujjwala’ project 19 months ago.   Ten lakh gas connections have been provided in the last fiscal 2016-2017. CHHATTISGARH Hi-Tech Storm Water Drainage System’ Soon   The Naya Raipur Development Authority (NRDA) will soon commence work for developing a ‘Hi-Tech Storm Water Drainage System’ in the new Capital city. CHHATTISGARH Bhoramdev Sanctuary To Become ‘Tiger Reserve’ Soon   The 10th meeting of the members of Chhattisgarh State Wildlife Board chaired by Chief Minister Raman Singh cleared the proposal for declaring Bhoramdev Sanctuary as ‘Tiger Reserve’.   The meeting held at Chief Minister’s residence also endorsed the proposal to earmark the proposed ‘Tiger Reserve’ as ‘Core’ and ‘Buffer’ regions.   The proposal will now be sent to National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA), New Delhi for final approval.
