CHHATTISGARH Govt plans compensatory afforestation in bilaspur  The State Government will take up a massive compensatory afforestation exercise in Bilaspur district covering a total of 1000 hectares of land. The Government will soon carry out a survey of the areas where the exercise would be taken up, officials informed. CHHATTISGARH Govt allocates 16.91l quintals rice for pds in December  The State Government under the Public Distribution System (PDS) allocated about 16.91 lakh quintals of rice to 58 lakh ration card holders for the month of December in the entire State.
