    C’garh accepts punchhi commission recommendations   Chhattisgarh on Friday agreed to the recommendations of the Punchhi Commission on Centre-State relations regarding environment, natural resources and infrastructure, officials informed.   The standing committee had sought state government’s stand on recommendations made on volume 6 and 7 of Punchhi Commission report.   Notably, the Standing Committee of the Inter-State Council (ISC) headed by the Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh completed the onerous task of deliberations on all the 273 recommendations of the Punchhi Commission. CHHATTISGARH Union cabinet nod to 1028 mobile tower locations in lwe regions   The proposal for a total of 1028 mobile tower locations have been approved by the Central Government for Chhattisgarh in 16 Left Wing Extremist (LWE) infested districts, the Central government has informed.   The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi approved the “Universal Service Obligation Fund [USOF]” supported scheme to provide mobile services at 4072 tower locations identified by MHA in inhabited uncovered areas affected by Left Wing Extremism [LWE] of 96 districts in 10 States including Chhattisgarh for Phase-ll project.  The total project cost ... CHHATTISGARH Nmdc produced 1.57 mt of iron ore from c’garh mines   NMDC Ltd produced 1.57 million tonnes (MT) of iron ore from its Chhattisgarh-based mines as on April 30, 2018, the company informed in a regulatory filing.   The company is targetting to achieve 10 million tonnes of iron ore production per annum from each of its mines in Chhattisgarh by 2024-25, official sources informed.   It has also sought 7.116 hectares forest land diversion for its iron ore concentrate pipeline in Dantewada district of Bastar, they informed.   Notably, NMDC will also be seeking Right of Use (ROU) ... CHHATTISGARH Chhattisgarh CM to launch Vikas Yatra   Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh has launched Vikas Yatra from Dantewada.   Addressing the media, the Chief Minister said, “This yatra is to tell people about the development the state has witnessed.
