CHHATTISGARH Govt to develop tourist spots in surguja forests  The State Government is planning to develop tourist destinations in forests of Surguja region, officials informed. It may be recalled that the Chhattisgarh Government is also creating an ‘eco-ethnic’ tourist destination near the world famous Chitrakot water falls in Bastar region of the State, official sources informed. CHHATTISGARH State govt to develop 3 regional airports  The Chhattisgarh Government has undertaken development of Bilaspur, Jagdalpur and Ambikapur airstrip under Regional Connectivity Scheme (RCS), officials informed. A total Rs 76.50 crore has been sanctioned by Government of Chhattisgarh for development of Ambikapur, Bilaspur and Jagdalpur Airports uut of which, an amount of Rs 39.43 crore has been earmarked by the State government towards development of infrastructure at these airports. CHHATTISGARH Govt puts off survey for new helipads across state  The Chhattisgarh Government has put off plans for now to get ‘Obstruction Limitation Surveys’ (OLS) done for new helipads across the State. The tender has been recalled due to some unavoidable reasons, officials informed. Chhattisgarh is aggressively focussing on development of three regional airports mainly Jagdalpur, Ambikapur and Raigarh under the Regional Connectivity Scheme of the Union Ministry of Civil Aviation, officials informed.
