CONSITITONAL PROVISIONS FOR SC & ST Constitutional History In the original Constitution, Article 338 provided for a special officer (the Commissioner for SCs and STs) responsible for monitoring the implementation of constitutional and legislative safeguards for SCs and STs and reporting to the president. Seventeen regional offices of the Commissioner were established throughout the country. CHHATTISGARH Govt spending rs 100 cr to develop tribal tourism spots   The State Government is developing tourism facilities at a cost of Rs 100 crore under Central Government’s ‘Tribal Tourism Circuit’, officials informed.   The Chhattisgarh Tourism Board (CTB) had been working at a ‘themed based’ development of the project.   The Central Government has put up the anticipated timeline for completion of the Tribal Tourism Circuit  in Chhattisgarh to be 2019-20.   The Tribal Tourism Circuit will provide an opportunity to the tourists to witness and experience tribal culture and traditions in Chhattisgarh, officials informed.   The key ... CHHATTISGARH Chhattisgarh to launch ‘cm pension scheme’   Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh announced on Sunday in his monthly radio talk programme ‘Raman Ke Goth’ that his government has decided to launch Chief Minister Pension Scheme this year.   The scheme is intended to cover roughly three lakh people who have been found to be extremely deprived in socio-economic survey of year 2011.
