CHHATTISGARH C’garh govt identifies guma limestone block for auction   The Mineral Resources Department of  Chhattisgarh Government has identified the Guma limestone block for the purpose of grant of Mining Lease in 249.49 hectares in Palari tehsil of Baloda Bazar – Bhatapara district for specified end use of clinker/ cement through electronic auction.   Notably, Chhattisgarh Government had confirmed two limestone blocks and one Bauxite block ready for auction last year, the Central Government has informed.   Notably, the Ministry of Mines was monitoring the process very closely with the state governments. CHHATTISGARH Phonetic values of caste groups in various dialects approved   The Cabinet has decided to give recognition to 85 phonetic values of 27 scheduled caste groups of Chhattisgarh. This will make it convenient for the  people of these castes to get caste certificates on the basis of phonetic values of the names of their castes, mentioned in the revenue records and other documents, in their local dialects.   This includes 66 phonetic values of 22 scheduled caste groups and 19 phonetic values of five groups of scheduled tribe.   The Chief Minister further informed that in Chhattisgarh, 42 caste ... Chhattisgarh   Chhattisgarh: Four tribal students die at government hostels in Bastar   At least four tribal students have died in last ten days at residential schools and porta-cabins in Bastar division raising serious concern on negligence of their health and care at the government run hostels yet again.   Parents and students organizations in Sukma have demanded for departmental inquiry in the case and have also demanded for deployment of a nurse at hostel to attend emergencies.   The Gond tribal community has agitated saying that they would stage massive protest if the action isn’t taken in the case. ...
