CHHATTISGARH C’garh preparing for launch of ‘gram swaraj mission’   The Chhattisgarh Government has commenced preparations for Central Government’s nation-wide launch of ‘Gram Swaraj Mission’ from April 14 to May 5.   The State Women and Child Development Department will organize several programmes  relating to the ‘National Nutrition Mission’ at gram sabhas of the panchayats.   Gram Sabhas in the State are a part of Gram Swaraj Mission. CHHATTISGARH 48l students given laptops, tablets, claims govt   The State Government under the Chhattisgarh Yuva Soochna Kranti Yojana has distributed laptops and tablets to more than  1.48 lakh students so far, officials said.   Distribution of laptops to 17,000 students of academic session 2017-18 is in progress, they informed.   Under this scheme, the money for the purchase of laptops and tablets was transferred directly into the savings account of students in year 2015-16.   In the academic session 2016-17,  a total of 16,804 students were provided laptops and a total 62,124 students were provided tablets.   In the ... CHHATTISGARH Creda To Install Solar-Based Water Purification Systems   Chhattisgarh Renewable Energy Development Authority (CREDA) will be installing solar photo voltaic water purification system in various locations of the State.   Notably, Chhattisgarh will procure additional power from renewable energy sources to the tune of approximately 700 MW by FY 2018.   With this the average power purchase cost for Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Company Ltd (CSPDCL) based on the above power availability will increase from Rs 2.58 /kWh in FY 2015-16 to Rs 3.12 /kWh in FY 2018, the officials further informed.   The rates have been derived based ...
