CHHATTISGARH Nabard helps state with rs 4,486 cr during 2017-18   The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has assisted Chhattisgarh with Rs  4,486 crore during the financial year 2017-18.   This was 76% higher than that of the assistance given during last two years.   Under ‘Saur Sujala Scheme’, targetted beneficiaries were mainly small farmers in un-electrified areas of remote habitations. CHHATTISGARH State to celebrate ‘bijli tihar’ on dec 12   The chhattisgarh government will celebrate ‘bijli tihar’ on december 12 on the completion of 14 years in office of chief minister raman singh .   During the celebrations, 36 new power sub stations will be inaugurated which were constructed at a cost of rs 57.49 crore. CHHATTISGARH   Creda to install solar home lighting in 22 dists   The Chhattisgarh Renewable Energy Development Agency (CREDA) will install Solar Photovoltaic Home Lighting systems in 21 districts of the State.   It will also get installed Solar Photovoltaic High Mast Systems in eight districts of the State  besides several other locations, officials informed.   CREDA will also install Solar Photovoltaic Power Plants in six districts of Bastar division, officials informed .   The plants would be installed in Dantewada, Bastar, Sukma, Bijapur, Kondagaon and Kanker districts.   CREDA will also be installing solar photo voltaic water purification system ... CHHATTISGARH Creda To Install Solar-Based Water Purification Systems   Chhattisgarh Renewable Energy Development Authority (CREDA) will be installing solar photo voltaic water purification system in various locations of the State.   Notably, Chhattisgarh will procure additional power from renewable energy sources to the tune of approximately 700 MW by FY 2018.   With this the average power purchase cost for Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Company Ltd (CSPDCL) based on the above power availability will increase from Rs 2.58 /kWh in FY 2015-16 to Rs 3.12 /kWh in FY 2018, the officials further informed.   The rates have been derived based ...
