CHHATTISGARH Health department aims to diagnose 5 lakh patients for sickle cell disease The state health department has taken upon itself the mammoth task of conducting a mega sickle cell diagnose event from 10 am to 4 pm on March 21, where it plans to diagnose 5,00,000 people, including pregnant women and children across the state.   With this number, the state health department aims to create a world record for the highest number of patients diagnosed at a single event, and if the target is achieved on March 21, the department will register the achievment into the Golden book of World records.   Health department ... CHHATTISGARH Chhattisgarh govt develops two super speciality hospitals   Chhattisgarh Government in a bid to improve quality of health services is in the process of building two super speciality hospitals, officials informed.   Accordingly , the State Government will convert Chhattisgarh Institute of Medical Science (CIMS), Bilaspur into the super speciality hospital under PMSSY Phase-IV.   Notably, the State Health Department has decided to establish the 450 bedded  super speciality hospital having all PG medical courses in Raipur.   The existing constructed building area for the proposed hospital is 20,00,000 square feet.The facility would comprise 250 bedded general ward, 100 ...
