    C’garh accepts punchhi commission recommendations   Chhattisgarh on Friday agreed to the recommendations of the Punchhi Commission on Centre-State relations regarding environment, natural resources and infrastructure, officials informed.   The standing committee had sought state government’s stand on recommendations made on volume 6 and 7 of Punchhi Commission report.   Notably, the Standing Committee of the Inter-State Council (ISC) headed by the Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh completed the onerous task of deliberations on all the 273 recommendations of the Punchhi Commission. CHHATTISGARH All govt buildings to be disabled friendly by 2022   All Government buildings in Chhattisgarh would be made disabled friendly by 2022.   The building infrastructure would also be friendly to the senior citizens and the third genders, he said while chairing a meeting here.   The department would make transfer and  postings of the disabled persons based on their convenience by formulating rules accordingly.   The Government would be implementing a host of policies keeping in mind the welfare of the disabled, he said while chairing a meeting of departmental officials at the Mantralaya here.   The government ... CHHATTISGARH Vayosri yojana’ to be launched in three dists   Union Social Justice and Empowerment Ministry had launched ‘Vayosri Yojana’ for supplying any aid to senior citizens as per their requirements.The project will be launched at Bilaspur, Raigarh and  Janjgir-Champa districts, the Central Government has informed.   About 520 senior citizens in Raipur, 480 senior citizens in Bastar and 322 senior citizens in Bijapur had been identified for the scheme.   Prime Minister Narendra Modi had launched ‘Vayosri Yojana’ and gifted hearing aid to senior citizen at village Jangla district Bijapur on April 14.   As per the Census figures ... CHHATTISGARH Green signal to 30 new govt colleges   Chief Minister Raman Singh approved opening of 30 new Government Colleges which will be started in upcoming academic session 2018-19.   Higher Education Department Minister Prem Prakash Pandey said that 105 new Government Colleges had been started during the past few years.   Fifty-eight colleges had been opened in remote and inaccessible regions of the State.
