CHHATTISGARH Rajnandgaon ranked 2nd in country among 101 aspirational districts Rajnandgaon district of Chhattisgarh stands second in the  baseline ranking for the 101 aspirational districts in the country created by NITI Aayog with score of 47.96 per cent.   This programme is a policy priority of  the Central Government.   NITI Aayog anchors the programme with support from Central Ministries and the State Governments. CHHATTISGARH Raipur railway station get an artsy makeover   In an event conducted by the fine arts society of Raipur, youngsters painted the walls adjacent to the Raipur railway station. As part of the event, they came armed with paint brush, colours, and other things to paint the walls. These walls were worn off earlier, thanks to the youngsters, they look brand new. CHHATTISGARH 55,81,443 smart cards prepared in c’garh so far   Health Minister Ajay Chandrakar informed the Chhattisgarh Assembly on Thursday that a total of 61,96,110 smart cards are targetted to be made under National Health Insurance Scheme and Chief Minster Health Insurance Scheme. In a written reply to BJP member Shivratan Sharma, he said that 55,81,443 smart cards had been made so far in the state. CHHATTISGARH Govt gives nod to large irrigation projects in jashpur   The State Government has accorded administrative approval of Rs 15.96 crore for conducting survey for two proposed large irrigation projects in Jashpur district of Chhattisgarh, officials informed.   The projects are Dandpani Large Reservoir and Shekharpur Irrigation projects.   Notably, Chhattisgarh has set an ambitious target of raising its irrigation potential to 3.2 million hectares by 2028, officials informed.   The State Government has ensured usage of nearly 73 per cent of the extended irrigation capacity which is far better than many other States of the country, officials stated. ...
