 C’garh accepts punchhi commission recommendations Chhattisgarh on Friday agreed to the recommendations of the Punchhi Commission on Centre-State relations regarding environment, natural resources and infrastructure, officials informed. The standing committee had sought state government’s stand on recommendations made on volume 6 and 7 of Punchhi Commission report. Notably, the Standing Committee of the Inter-State Council (ISC) headed by the Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh completed the onerous task of deliberations on all the 273 recommendations of the Punchhi Commission. CHHATTISGARH Kerala’s art comes to Raipur For the first time ever in Chhattisgarh, a state-level workshop on Kalaripayattu, a form of martial arts from Kerala, will be organised by Art Hulchal. The 15-day trading workshop will be held from March 10 to 25 in Raipur. Kalaripayattu means practicing the arts of the battlefield. Kalari means battlefield and it is prevalent in Kerala. CHHATTISGARH Patanjali commits rs 671 cr investment in state  Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali Ayurved Limited (PAL) will be investing Rs 671 crore in Chhattisgarh for setting up a ‘Food and Herbal Processing Unit.’ The company has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Chhattisgarh Government to set up the unit in Bijetala village of Rajnandgaon district on 500 acres of land, officials informed. CHHATTISGARH 76 kms of rly route to be electrified in chhattisgarh: railway minister  A total of 76 route kilometres have been identified for railway electrification in chhattisgarh, the union railway ministry has informed in a press release.
