CHHATTISGARH C’garh’s Paddy Procurement Drive To Begin From Nov 15   Chief Minister Raman Singh on Sunday announced that his Government had set up 1992 paddy procurement centres across the State to facilitate paddy procurement from 15.79 lakh farmers from November 15 till January 31.   Chief Minister said that tendu patta is the main source of income for nearly 14 lakh families and keeping this in view, State Government has increased the wages of tendu patta collectors from Rs 450 per standard sack to ‘1500 per standard sack and then to ‘1800 per standard sack.   Now in the ...
