Campaign-2 on, survey teams formed, says CM

 

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that Kill-corona Campaign-2 is being conducted from village to village and house to house in all rural areas of the State for special fever screening.

The survey teams are reaching out and identifying potential patients on priority especially in areas where the rate of infection is high. 15,308 survey teams have been formed for the Kill-Corona Campaign-2 started from April 24 last. The survey of more than 2 crore 29 lakh 51 thousand 135 people has been completed by the survey teams so far. During the survey, samples of more than 84,148 potential patients have been taken.

Out of 22,811 gram panchayats in the state, 21,584 gram panchayats have pledged to impose Janta corona curfew, which is about 94.62 percent of the total panchayats. All government and private offices except essential services are operating with a 10 percent presence. The gathering of people is prohibited for organising social, political, cultural, sports, educational, public events and entertainment activities.

Under the Jeevan Amrit Yojana, 2 lakh 92 thousand 448 people have been benefited by distributing 1 lakh 16 thousand 979 packets of decoction to families since April 8, 2021.

India Ranks 49th in Chandler Good Government Index

 

India has been placed at 49th position amongst 104 international locations in the Chandler Good Government Index (CGGI) 2021. Finland has topped the CGGI Index 2021, and Venezuela is the ultimate ranked united states at 104.

The Chandler Good Governance Index is released by means of the Chandler Institute of Governance, headquartered in Singapore. The index is organized based on seven pillars: leadership and foresight, sturdy institutions, robust laws and policies, attractive market place, monetary stewardship, supporting people rise, international influence, and reputation.

IA 2030 Immunisation Agenda

 

The IA 2030 is Immunisation Agenda 2030. It was launched by World Health Organisation, GAVI and UNICEF. It has been titled “A Global Strategy to depart No One Behind”. Its pursuits to maximize lifesaving have an impact on vaccines. The Immunisation Agenda 2030 was once launched all through the World Immunisation Week.

Its ambitions to promote “Vaccination during life” are from infancy to adolescence and until ancient age.

Krithi Karanth – First Indian Woman to Get Wild Innovator Award

 

Dr Krithi K Karanth, who has been the Chief Conservation Scientist at Bengaluru-based Centre for Wildlife Studies has been chosen as the first Indian and Asian woman for the 2021 ‘WILD Innovator Award’.

 

This award given by the ”WILD ELEMENTS Foundation” brings together a coalition of innovators, advocates and partners to “disrupt the popularity quo and identify options to world sustainability and conservation”.

 

Production Linked Incentive Scheme for Food Processing Industry

 

The online portal for the ‘Production Linked Incentive Scheme for Food Processing Industry’ (PLISFPI) was launched by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI).

 

The Indian government has approved a Central Sector Scheme, the ” Production Linked Incentive Scheme for Food Processing Industry “, which will be implemented from 2021-22 to 2026-27 at a cost of Rs. 10,900 crore.

 

The Ministry of Food Processing Industries is accepting applications from three types of applicants for sales-based incentives and grants to conduct Branding & Marketing activities abroad under the scheme:

 The first category: Applicants in this category can also conduct branding and marketing activities abroad, and can apply for grants from the scheme together with ordinary applications.

The second category: Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) applicants manufacture innovative/organic products and apply for PLI awards based on sales.

The third category: Applicants who are solely seeking a grant to carry out branding and marketing activities in abroad.

 

Notification of Social Security Code

 

The Ministry of Labour & Employment has informed Section 142 of the Social Security Code, 2020, which addresses Aaadhar’s applicability.

The Ministry will be able to collect Aaadhar information for the database of beneficiaries under various social security schemes as a result of the section’s notification.

Used Cooking Oil (UCO) Based Bio-Diesel

 

The first supply of UCO (Used Cooking Oil) based Biodiesel blended Diesel under the EOI Scheme was flagged off by Union Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas from Indian Oil’s Tikrikalan Terminal in Delhi.

Biodiesel is an alternative fuel that can be made from vegetable oils, animal fats, tallow, and waste cooking oil, and is similar to traditional or “fossil” diesel.

Another benefit of Biodiesel is that it is carbon-neutral, meaning that the oilseed absorbs the same amount of CO2 that is emitted when the fuel is burned in a vehicle.

Biodiesel is also quickly biodegradable and totally non-toxic.
