Keeping the interest of fishermen on top priority, work is in progress on a fisheries policy in Chhattisgarh and will be announced soon, Agriculture Minister Ravindra Choubey said.
The after giving the status of <a href="https://exam.pscnotes.com/Agriculture-notes-for-state-psc-exams”>Agriculture to Fisheries had given exemption in electricity and other equipment, he said.
Within a year, 2,500 fishermen have derived the benefit of Kisan Credit Card, said Choubey.
He added that recently an agreement was signed to supply 100 tonnes of tilapia fish to England. In lines of several online food supply, the fish farmers can work to supply fresh fishes to customers directly.
Farmers can look at these opportunities. He assured to fulfil the demands of fishermen and handed over equipment to beneficiaries under government schemes.
The rankings released by the Union ministry of housing and urban affairs (MoHUA) on Saturday are based on a cleanliness survey done across the country after segregating cities and towns based on their Population.
Overall, 4,320 Urban Local Bodies, including cities, towns, municipalities, and cantonments, in various categories were assessed. Of them, two major categories were 372 cities/towns with population between 1-10 lakh, and 48 big cities with10 lakh or above population.
The Swachh Bharat Survey 2020 had four parameters Citizen Feedback (1,500 marks), Certification (1,500 marks), Direct Observation (1,500) and Service Level Progress (1,500).
However, this year, the assessment was done on three scales Citizen Feedback (1,800 marks), Service Level Progress (2,400 marks) and Certification (1,800 marks). Total marks up for grabs were 6,000. Meerut was the star performer, recording a big jump of 14 rungs from 41st rank last year to 27 this time with an aggregate score of 3,598, a substantial increase in comparison to last year.
On the other hand, the biggest drop in ranking among UP cities was recorded by Agra, which slipped from rank 16 last year to 24 this year. Agras net score also plunged to 3,715 from 4,391 last year. Prayagraj also lost six spots from rank 20 last year to 26th this time. Its net score in 2020 was 4,141, which came down to 3,613 this year. Varanasi, too, slipped three rungs from 27th rank last year to 30th this time, with its score dropping to 3,532 from 3,684 last year.

Ministry of coal has constituted a Cell, in line with the commitment of clean energy.
The Sustainable Development Cell was constituted in the backdrop of Prime Ministers announcement on new Climate targets at COP26 under Panchamrit Strategy.
Ministry emphasised on to put major thrust on Sustainable Development in coal mining, by taking care of the environmental and social impact of the mining.
Ministry of coal has established a full-fledged Sustainable Development Cell (SDC) to mentor, advice, and plan action of minimising adverse impact of mining.
It will also formulate future policy framework for environmental mitigation in Coal sector as well as Lignite sector in India.
Coal India Ltd. (CIL) and its subsidiaries along with NLC India Ltd., & Singareni Coal Company Ltd. (SCCL) has already started the extensive work.
He also pledged that by 2025, the Yamuna River will be safe to drink and bathe in.
The Delhi government has also begun de-silting and repair of the sewage system.

New Satellite Launched By China – Gaofen-11 03
China launched a new satellite titled “Gaofen-11 03” from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Centre on 20 November.

The Taiyuan Satellite Launch Centre is in Shanxi’s northern region.
A Long March-4B rocket was used to launch the satellite.
It successfully entered the intended orbit.
The satellite was launched on the 397th launch of the Long March series carrier rockets.
Gaofen
Gaofen is a Chinese series of high-resolution Earth imaging satellites that are utilised for the government-sponsored China High-resolution Earth Observation System (CHEOS).
Gaofen 1, the first satellite of the Gaofen series, was launched in 2013. Gaofen-11 03 is a Chinese National Space Administration (CNSA) Earth observation satellite.
It was successfully separated in the Sun-synchronous orbit.
