CHHATTISGARH Nmdc produced 1.57 mt of iron ore from c’garh mines   NMDC Ltd produced 1.57 million tonnes (MT) of iron ore from its Chhattisgarh-based mines as on April 30, 2018, the company informed in a regulatory filing.   The company is targetting to achieve 10 million tonnes of iron ore production per annum from each of its mines in Chhattisgarh by 2024-25, official sources informed.   It has also sought 7.116 hectares forest land diversion for its iron ore concentrate pipeline in Dantewada district of Bastar, they informed.   Notably, NMDC will also be seeking Right of Use (ROU) ... CHHATTISGARH Govt to carry out mass surveys of irrigation infra   A comprehensive and phased survey of more than 300 small irrigation projects for their full capacity utilisation will be carried out in Chhattisgarh, officials informed.   The survey would be done for 1698 small irrigation projects, 766 anicuts, stop dams and 585 diversion projects.   The survey of canals and barrages would also be carried out. CHHATTISGARH Rajnandgaon ranked 2nd in country among 101 aspirational districts Rajnandgaon district of Chhattisgarh stands second in the  baseline ranking for the 101 aspirational districts in the country created by NITI Aayog with score of 47.96 per cent.   This programme is a policy priority of  the Central Government.   NITI Aayog anchors the programme with support from Central Ministries and the State Governments. CHHATTISGARH Rs 338.95 cr to chhattisgarh under pmgsy in 2017-18 : centre   The Central Government has provided a sum of Rs.338.95 crore to Chhattisgarh so far during the current financial year 2017-18 under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY).   The State of Chhattisgarh has reported to have constructed 81 roads measuring length 410.42 Km under New Connectivity and 2 roads measuring length 8.25 Km roads under upgradation till December, 2017, the Central Government has informed.   The above funds have not been utilized for repairing the roads constructed earlier.   As per PMGSY guidelines, maintenance of roads constructed ... CHHATTISGARH Ujjwala yojana implementation on fast track     Under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, gas connections and cylinders are being provided in remote areas at an accelerated pace, officials informed.   Chhattisgarh is the first state of the country, where distributors in 50 remote areas have been appointed and 7525 women of remote areas have been provided LPG connection.
