CHHATTISGARH   C’garh Assembly passes Mediaperson Security Bill The Chhattisgarh Assembly on Wednesday passed the Chhattisgarh Mediakarmi Suraksha Vidheyak 2023 by voice vote. CHHATTISGARH   Kisan Nyay Yojana fourth instalment on Mar 25: CM Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Sunday said the fourth installment of the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana will be released to farmers by March 25. CHHATTISGARH   C’garh govt provides 10% subsidy on EV purchase Under the Electric Vehicle (EV) Policy 2022, the Transport Department is encouraging adoption of electric vehicles by providing 10% subsidy to the vehicle price which is directly transferred to the costumer’s bank account. An official communication said that the subsidy is available for all two-wheeler, three-wheeler, four-wheeler (non-commercial), four-wheeler (commercial), goods carrier passenger vehicles, and other categories of battery-powered electric vehicles (EV) in order to promote electric vehicles in the state under Policy 2022. CHHATTISGARH   Cabinet nod to Naxal eradication policy With an aim to end the Red menace in Chhattisgarh, the cabinet on Friday approved a Naxalite eradication policy for the state. The meeting of the          cabinet was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel here. To enhance the quality of education, the Education Department was authorized to implement a World Bank project, Chalk, worth about Rs 2,500 crore. CHHATTISGARH   C’garh approves 45 cow dung paint producing units A total of 45 natural paint production units have been certified for manufacturing paint from cow dung in Chhattisgarh. Nineteen units have started production. Gauthans built for livestock conservation and promotion in the state are rapidly transforming into rural industrial parks. Together with other income-oriented activities, the production of natural paint from cow dung has begun. CHHATTISGARH   Over 4k children freed from malnutrition in C’garh’s Dantewada Since the inception of the Mukhyamantri Suposhan Yojana in 2019, the scheme has helped 94,828 people to overcome nutritional deficiency while 4,412 children have been freed from malnutrition in Chhattisgarh’s Dantewada district. The scheme is being implemented in the tribal-dominated district to increase children’s and women’s nutrition levels and make them healthy. CHHATTISGARH   Chhattisgarh has potential for exports’ Exporters and investors said on Monday that Chhattisgarh has great potential to boost exports but they sought concessions for transportation as it is a landlocked state.
