CHHATTISGARH Chhattisgarh announces 50k subsidy on e-rickshaw  Chief Minister Raman Singh on Sunday announced subsidy up to Rs 50,000 on purchase of e-rickshaw in state, through Lbaour Department. Earlier Swarna Jayanti Rozgar Yojana was conducted for livelihood and self-employment in which participation of men and women were equal. Now it has been named as ‘Bihaan’, which means ‘morning’. CHHATTISGARH Mahanadi Dispute: Centre hands over ToR to tribunal chairman The Centre shared the terms of reference (ToR) of the Mahanadi Water Dispute Tribunal (MWDT) with its chairman and Supreme Court judge Justice A M Khanwilkar. CHHATTISGARH Chhattisgarh’s first governor D N Sahay passes away  Former governor of Chhattisgarh and Tripura Dinesh Nandan Sahay has died after prolonged illness. He was 82. Born in 1936, Sahay began his career with the Indian Police Service and rose to the position of the DGP of Bihar. He became the first Governor of Chhattisgarh after the state was carved out of Madhya Pradesh in 2000.
