CHHATTISGARH Chhattisgarh: Forest dept to bring ‘Kumki’ jumbos to tame tusker menace   Aiming to curb the menace of rampaging wild elephants and to drive them away from human inhabited areas in Chhattisgarh, twelve local mahouts are undergoing training a special in Karnataka. CHHATTISGARH Special canteen for labours in Chhattisgarh and Meals at just Rs.5   Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh launched the ‘Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Shram Anna Sahayata Yojna‘ under which nutritious meal will be provided to laborers at price of Rupees five. As many as 60 such food centers will be set up in 27 districts of the states which will provide food to nearly 60,000 laborers on a daily basis. Chhattisgarh   Chhattisgarh Government to merge DCCBs with state cooperative bank   The Chhattisgarh Government has planned to merge all District Cooperative Central Banks (DCCBs) of the state into a single State Cooperative Bank. Chhattisgarh   Scheme to provide meal to labourers launched in C’garh.   Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh launched ‘Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Shram Anna Sahayata Yojna’ under which nutritious meal for Rs 5 will be provided to labourers in the state.   Under the scheme, first Shram Anna Sahayata centre was inaugurated in Telibandha area where around 1,000 labourers will be served meal daily between 8 am to 10 am.     The centre has been constructed at a cost of Rs 20 lakh.   Meanwhile, a skill development centre set up in the same premises was also dedicated by the ...
