Decline of handicrafts during British period India’s traditional village economy was characterised by the “blending of agriculture and handicrafts”.  But this internal balance of the village economy had been systematically slaughtered by the British Government. CHHATTISGARH C’garh fast emerging as india’s logistic hub: cm Chief Minister  Raman Singh on Monday said that Chhattisgarh is fast becoming logistic supply chain hub of India.   He was addressing ‘Investors Conference’ in Sydney, capital of New South Wales State in Australia.   The State is strategically located in the central part of India and the boundaries touch seven States. Art Forms of Chhattigarh Geographical Indication belonging to Chhattisgarh  are- Bastar Dhokra – Dhokra is a non-ferrous metal casting using the lost-wax casting technique. This sort of metal casting has been used in India for over 5000 years. It was prevalent during the Indus Valley Civilisation of Harappa and Mohenjo-daro.
