CHHATTISGARH 30l standard sacks of tendupatta collected so far: govt   Nearly 8.30 lakh standard sacks of tendupatta have been collected in more than 10,000 collection centres under 916 primary forest cooperative societies of Chhattisgarh, officials informed.   From Bastar to Surguja, tendupatta from 31 forest division of the State is being collected. CHHATTISGARH Rajnandgaon ranked 2nd in country among 101 aspirational districts Rajnandgaon district of Chhattisgarh stands second in the  baseline ranking for the 101 aspirational districts in the country created by NITI Aayog with score of 47.96 per cent.   This programme is a policy priority of  the Central Government.   NITI Aayog anchors the programme with support from Central Ministries and the State Governments. CHHATTISGARH Green signal to 30 new govt colleges   Chief Minister Raman Singh approved opening of 30 new Government Colleges which will be started in upcoming academic session 2018-19.   Higher Education Department Minister Prem Prakash Pandey said that 105 new Government Colleges had been started during the past few years.   Fifty-eight colleges had been opened in remote and inaccessible regions of the State. CHHATTISGARH Govt gives nod to large irrigation projects in jashpur   The State Government has accorded administrative approval of Rs 15.96 crore for conducting survey for two proposed large irrigation projects in Jashpur district of Chhattisgarh, officials informed.   The projects are Dandpani Large Reservoir and Shekharpur Irrigation projects.   Notably, Chhattisgarh has set an ambitious target of raising its irrigation potential to 3.2 million hectares by 2028, officials informed.   The State Government has ensured usage of nearly 73 per cent of the extended irrigation capacity which is far better than many other States of the country, officials stated. ... CHHATTISGARH Public grievance redressal highest in c’garh: govt   The review of the Central Public Grievances and Administrative Reforms’ (CPGRAMS) web-portal has revealed that the redressal of the grievances of applicants is the highest in Chhattisgarh among the 29 States of the country. The Department officers said that Chhattisgarh State Government had received 18, 735 applications from Central Public Grievances Redressal and Monitoring System  Web portal. 15,299 complaints (81.66 per cent) have been settled. CHHATTISGARH Bill to acquire tribal land for dev. Schemes passed   The Chhattisgarh Assembly passed the Chhattisgarh Land Revenue Code (Amendment) bill which would facilitate the government to acquire tribal land for various development schemes.   After tabling the bill, the minister said that the amendment in the previous Act will ease the process of land acquisition in the tribal areas for various welfare schemes.
