CHHATTISGARH Govt gives nod to large irrigation projects in jashpur The State Government has accorded administrative approval of Rs 15.96 crore for conducting survey for two proposed large irrigation projects in Jashpur district of Chhattisgarh, officials informed. The projects are Dandpani Large Reservoir and Shekharpur Irrigation projects. Notably, Chhattisgarh has set an ambitious target of raising its irrigation potential to 3.2 million hectares by 2028, officials informed. CHHATTISGARH RS 34.12 CRORE NOD FOR DISTRIBUTARIES CONSTRUCTION Chhattisgarh Government has given administrative sanction of Rs 34.12 crore for reconstruction of miners, lining and other construction works of distributaries- 15 and 16 of Mahanadi main canal in Raipur district. These works will provide additional irrigation facility for 663 hectare area and total area of irrigation will expand to 12, 922 hectare area.
