CHHATTISGARH Govt gives nod to large irrigation projects in jashpur   The State Government has accorded administrative approval of Rs 15.96 crore for conducting survey for two proposed large irrigation projects in Jashpur district of Chhattisgarh, officials informed.   The projects are Dandpani Large Reservoir and Shekharpur Irrigation projects.   Notably, Chhattisgarh has set an ambitious target of raising its irrigation potential to 3.2 million hectares by 2028, officials informed.   The State Government has ensured usage of nearly 73 per cent of the extended irrigation capacity which is far better than many other States of the country, officials stated. ...
